Kasia has been a qualified Physiotherapist for eight years. She specialised in the rehabilitation of Orthopaedic/ Musculoskeletal injuries, with specific focus on neck and back pain. She has considerable experience in both the National Health Service and Private Practice.
Since completing her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2010, Kasia has provided services to the medico legal industry. Together with her team, she developed a therapeutic program for musculoskeletal conditions. This program was created to meet the varying demands of her patients with the aim of restoration of health, tailoring it their unique needs, increasing satisfaction thereby promoting adherence to therapy. The program has been designed to facilitate recovery for people suffering from minor musculoskeletal injuries and is aligned strictly to the Guidelines of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) . It generated tremendous interest and users of the service repeatedly utilised it. Given the early success, in 2012 Kasia was appointed Managing Director at Proactivhealth, a provider of evidence based treatments. Since taking charge, she has drastically increased Company revenues and growth, and the Company now has a well established and diversified base of corporate clients. At the core of this exponential growth is the fact that patients continue to benefit from the treatments and services.
Orchestrating activities at Proactivhealth, Kasia regularly supervises physiotherapeutic assessments and treatments to individuals who have sustained whiplash and low back pain injuries. She conducts regular peer reviews and evaluates clinical performance against agreed standards. Promoting the implementation of research based practice ensures adherence to excellence in terms of standards, and she keeps abreast of latest developments in guidelines and protocols for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, thus enabling her team to incorporate the most efficient treatments.
Never one to rest on her laurels, Kasia is actively engaged in advancing continued professional development (CPD) to broaden her own expertise. She has attended the courses/training detailed below, and holds the following qualifications/memberships:
