Clinical Specialist and Case Management
Dayanee is a physiotherapist with over 28 years of experience who has specialised in working with older people. She has worked for 14 years as a specialist physiotherapist at St Luke’s Hospice, Sheffield . She have experience of working in the NHS previous to this. She specialise in Community Care, Neurology, Falls, Lymphoedema, Musculoskeletal problems and Orthopaedics. She have worked in Intermediate care, Residential care, Assessment and Rehabilitation , Centre, Front Door Response team and Neuro Enablement Service. She work privately dealing in the above cases and am the in-house physiotherapist at Broomgrove Nursing Home, Sheffield. Motivating, influencing and negotiating with patients come very naturally to her as this skill has become very useful in her job to enable patients to engage in treatment programmes.
She held Background & qualifications: Diploma in Physiotherapy; Acupuncture course, Acupuncture and dry-needling course for Myofascial pain syndromes, People Handling and Risk Assessment Trainer’s certificate, Late complaints after mastectomy course-myofascial pain., Introduction to Indian head massage, BSc in Supportive and Palliative care from Sheffield Hallam University, Exercise Prescription Course from Sheffield Hallam University.
